ELECTRIC CARS :

INTRODUCTION:

An electric cars is an automobile that is propelled by one or more electric motors, using energy stored in recharge batteries. The first practical electric cars were produced in the 1880 s. Electric cars were popular in the late 19th century and early 20th century, until advances in internal combustion engines, electric starters in particular, and mass production of cheaper gasoline vehicles led to a decline in the use of electric batteries.

TYPES OF ELECTRIC CARS:

There are three main types of electric vehicles E.V, classed by the degree that electricity is used as their energy source. B.E.V, or battery electric vehicles, P.H.E.V of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, and H.E.V, or hybrid electric vehicles. Only B.E.V are capable of charging on a level 3, DC fast Image result for different types of electric cars

Battery Electric Vehicles (B.E.V):

Battery Electric Vehicles, also called B.E.V, and more frequently called E.V, are fully-electric vehicles with rechargeable batteries and no gasoline engine. Battery electric vehicles store electricity on board with high-capacity battery packs. Their battery power is used to run the electric motor and all on board electronics. B.E.V do not emit any harmful emissions and hazards caused by traditional gasoline-powered vehicles. B.E.V are charged by electricity from an external source. Electric Vehicle E.V chargers are classified according to the speed with which they recharge an E.V battery.

B.E.V Examples that can charge on DC Level 3 Fast Chargers
  • Tesla Model 3
  • BMW i 3
  • Chevy Bolt
  • Chevy Spark
  • Nissan LEAF
  • Ford Focus Electric
  • Hyundai Ioniq
  • Karma Revera
  • Kia Soul
  • Mitsubishi i-MiEV
  • Tesla Model S
  • Tesla X
  • Toyota Rav4
  • Volkswagen e-Golf

Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (P.H.E.V):

Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles or P.H.E.Vs can recharge the battery through both regenerative braking and “plugging in” to an external source of electrical power. While “standard” hybrids can (at low speed) go about 1-2 miles before the gasoline engine turns on, P.H.E.V models can go anywhere from 10-40 miles before their gas engines provide assistance.
P.H.E.V Examples
  • Chevy Volt
  • Chrysler Pacifica
  • Ford C-Max Energi
  • Ford Fusion Energi
  • Mercedes C350e
  • Mercedes S550e
  • Mercedes GLE550e
  • Mini Cooper SE Countryman
  • Audi A3 E-Tron
  • BMW 330e
  • BMW i8
  • BMW X5 xdrive40e
  • Fiat 500e
  • Hyundai Sonata
  • Kia Optima
  • Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid
  • Porsche Panamera S E-hybrid
  • Toyota Prius
  • Volvo XC90 T8

E.V CHARGING IS FAST AND AFFORDABLE:Image result for types of charge electric cars

Fast charging your E.V is very simple and now quite affordable with E.V. You can quickly connect your E.V to a charger in seconds, charge to 80% or more in less than hour, while you shop, eat, read, or relax. With E.V convenient charging options, it is now as cheap or cheaper than gas to charge with E.V. Where you once had to pay a per session fee plus a per minute fee, we've shifted to low membership fee structures or low pay as you go fees making the cost of owning an E.V even better. E.V fast chargers are compatible with all fast charge capable E.V models currently on the market, including Tesla Models S/X/3 with a C.H.A.D.E.M.O adapter.

Types of communication

Four types of Communication: 1) Verbal Communication: Verbal communication can also be called as Oral communication. In very simple terms, any communication that happens orally between people is known as verbal communication. The objective of such communications is to ensure that people understand whatever you want to convey.
